Bewildered Reveries of a Nihilist

Music breathes like dandelions

Surrounded by vines and daffodils
Mother so generously let grow,
musing leaves' delicacy still until
music breathes as the wind blows.

Home is where I rest amidst chaos.
You, mother, sheltered from betrayals,
(elusive evenings from that day,) our
music breathes like dandelions.

Darkness approaches

Darkness at the corner of the garden.
Holding hands with yearning.
Lopsided, spreading over everything.
Subdued bloom,
gratuitous solitude.

The last Kauaʻi ʻōʻō and human existence

He sings to his lover,
he sings into the mountains.
Echoes of his song
captured.
Heard by everyone
but the ones that matter.

We sing to our lovers,
We sing into the darkness.
Echoes of our song
decaying.
Heard by everyone
but none of us matter.

Whispers of the lake

Everyone was fast asleep
when you faced the water.
Looking at yourself,
the world must end.

You're the stillest lakes, you are the ripples.
When the storm hits and everything descends
into chaos. The sound of destruction,
a lullaby, grandest serenity.

All those lights are for you
and their echoes in me too.
Only you can follow this path
and let it flow wherever
your heart so desire.

Lost in Elysium

A meadow of natural oases
away from home.
Khloris's garden, a spitting image
of the one to which I must return.

Kneel by the alter of flowers,
pray to the Elysium.

Her lips breathe spring roses,
her temple adorns perpetual spring.

"Ascend, child, float through space
beyond earth, beyond home."
All those lights are for you
and their echoes in me too.

Memoirs of the nights

Silver nights, silver nights,
silver is your moonlight.
With dawn at bay, I mused.
With dark at bay, the wind blew.
Silver nights, silver nights,
the black is my sanctuary.
Slowly but sure the sun must rise.
Dewdrops must spread over everything.
Slowly but sure the sun must die.
Darkness must spread over everything.

Reflections of nothing
She has voids for eyes,
they gaze into the darkest of mirrors.
She stands in stasis, entranced by the depths.
Therein she dives.

Caged demons destroy
their shackles, but they can never escape.
'cause the only way out is the way in.
She has voids for eyes.

The nothingness of everything

Adrift In Catastrophe.
Trains of gear, ticking away
in endless cascades.

Desolate liminality
between seconds.
Deserted oases yearning
for safe havens.

There is but a welcoming war.
Our orchards, burnt down,
turned inside out,
thrown into the void.

Freefalling into the abyss,
a clockwork stampede.
Wandering voices call; to
the eternal feminine.

Though what is feared is unknown,
rebuild the garden, listener.
It is your home.

Dies Mortem

Day of wrath, the day that
will dissolve the world into ashes.
Shall I await the day that
will stop the aching from
eating into the heart like a parasite.

No trumpet will ever sound
no man will seek god.
Oases dried motherless,
cosmos spitting at thy face.

Day of wrath, the day that
will dissolve the fucking world into ashes.
The day will arrive, the day that
naked bodies will reject blood,
let them drip down onto god’s corpse.

Waltzing with Days of Old

Like days of old when the sun
was the warmest cold
and the coldest warmth
was the seductive rebellions,
like days of old when the rooftop
was the highest place
and down lay seeds of acrophobia,

This day shall not be a memory.
For the fools in us, look at clocks
and they see only the hands.

Desolation of gratuitous nihilism

At day's end,
they unravel.
Feet plunged into the dirt.
Eyes at dismay.

Step out into the desert,
walk for a while and look back.
You will see the ruins' past.
Upright and perfect.

Don't you dare come back to it.

It is only distinct colors
painted onto transparent walls
that breathe life into desolate minds.
An oasis of unseen colors.

And days end,
they feign travel.
Suspended in midair,
times gone astray.
